Emergency Preparedness Resource Suite

Leadership Lafayette | Oxford-Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce

Project

Developed a cohesive suite of emergency preparedness resources designed to make essential safety information approachable, useful, and easy to reference for the Lafayette County community. The system uses bold typography, custom iconography, color-coded information, and consistent visual elements across an Emergency Response Action Plan, preparedness calendar, game-day emergency resource magnet, and weather-safety “What to Wear” magnet, translating dense, action-oriented information into materials that can be understood quickly while maintaining a recognizable visual identity.

My Contribution

I developed the visual identity and designed the full suite, establishing the typography, color system, iconography, information hierarchy, and layouts while adapting the system across multiple formats and coordinating print production and vendors.

My Contribution

I developed the visual concept, illustration, typography, layout, and final production-ready artwork for campus-wide distribution.

Why Honors? Recruitment Postcard

Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College | University of Mississippi

Project

Designed a recruitment postcard around authentic responses from current Honors students to the question, “Why Honors at the University of Mississippi?” Rather than telling prospective students what made the College valuable from an institutional perspective, the piece lets students answer in their own words. I used the visual language of an Instagram question sticker and responses to give the traditional recruitment postcard a more contemporary, student-driven feel.

My Contribution

I developed the concept, gathered student responses, designed the postcard, organized the content into a cohesive visual composition, and prepared the piece for print production.

Honors College Recruitment Inserts

Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College | University of Mississippi

Project

Created a set of informational inserts for handwritten letters sent by Honors Ambassadors to prospective students. Ambassadors were spending much of each letter repeatedly explaining the basics of the Honors College, leaving less room for the personal connection the outreach was intended to create. I developed the inserts—modeled after the informational pieces in an invitation suite—to provide a concise overview of the Honors experience, benefits, and admissions process while allowing ambassadors to focus their letters on more personal, student-to-student communication.

My Contribution

I identified the opportunity, developed the concept, determined and organized the content, designed the two-piece set, and coordinated print production. The finished inserts were placed inside folded handwritten cards before mailing to prospective students.
